She Loves Smiles: little words

I have something for you:

Sometimes in life we feel this annoying, pushy feeling, that’s telling us we are wasting our life. It’s not just a suspicion, it’s because we are wasting our life. We have this guilty feeling telling us: ‘I know I’m better than what I’m portraying myself to be, I’m bound to do something more than this.’

It’s about taking yourself more seriously. The world around us will take you more seriously, if you’ll take yourself seriously. And I’m not saying, taking yourself more seriously in an ego kind of way.

It’s funny to me, that our deepest fears are not found in the darkness, but are actually hidden in the great potential we have. Not the darkness, but the light scares us. And we, as human beings, being afraid as we are, of our own greatness, we don’t GO for it.

We are afraid other people around us will pull us down. But let me tell you something, if you really GO for it, there will always be people that are going to be sceptic about you and will pull you down. There’s always a risk of failure. If you really go for it in life, there are no guarantees of success,

But if you DON’T, I can tell you what you can be guaranteed, that icky feeling deep down in your heart: ‘I’m not going to do that, no, I’m not doing it, I know there’s something more better out there for me, but I’m not making any steps.’

This feeling, this sticky, pushy, annoying feeling, that’s making you feel exhausted, will never end, unless you are able to say: ‘I am going to turn my back on living a limited life, and I’m at least going for a life that’s lived to the very fullest.’ And with walking side by side with God, I will make it through.

tell me, what are you unnecessarily scared of?
